On the 22nd of June we did Japanese calligraphy with Marissa for Monday Mashup. first we wrote our name in pencil and once we wrote our name 4 times in a row then we got to do our name with black paint i liked my 3rd one it turned to be one of the best for me. I really liked it because i always wanted to learn about the culture.
What is you name in Japanese?
The first thing we did was go outside, we got a tray and filled it up with sand and made a hole in it. We poured isopropyl alcohol in it so it can be flammable. We put powder sugar, and baking soda in and then Whaea Liz put it on fire, it started to burn.
It looked like a big marshmallow with little black worms. It also smelt like a burnt marshmallow.
On the 4th of the 5th we went to Living springs for year 6 camp we stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights There were a lot of activities but my most Favourite was the mountain boarding. I liked rock climbing too. I did the best in my group for rock climbing. in the picture I made myself doing mounting boarding it’s like skateboarding and snowboarding mixed together. if we would wake up early we could watch the sunrise they were always so pretty. Have been to Living springs before?
Today we did TAP.TAP is tense, action, person. First I did Felix is dancing, after that I did the dog is singing then I did the cat is jumping and lastly i did Tayah is sitting.
This week for CRT with Sharon we made a fishing rod with the Epro8 kits.
The people in my group are Brooklyn , Ida, Ashleigh, and Me.
I enjoyed connecting the sting because it was fun.
I found making the gear box challenging.
